Hi.
Looking at fitting a "stock looking" B230FK(which need to look stock to get approved) with more power.
Currently we have tested out a large china T3/T4 turbo at up to 2,4bar of boost, and it works nicely, but there are 2 big problems:
Exhaust manifold is glowing white at that boost, and compressor stall is massive without a blowoff valve.
Suspecting that F-intake is also a limitation.
Thinking about fitting the E-intake onto the FK engine, and the challenge then comes to where to fit the injectors.
I could drill them into the head, but are concerned that the relatively large fuel flow will puddle below the valve and cause uneven mixture problem.
I could also weld in bungs on the top, but the injectors will "shoot into the bottom" even at max angle. Concerned for puddling here also.
Or i could do what all apparently are not doing: Weld them in on the bottom of the bend at maximum angle. This is almost possible to get a straight shot into the port that way. It will be easierly hidden, but annoying to install and service.
What do the group think here?
Either way i want to split the plenum and widen to increase volume.
Any good build treads showing E intakes on fast 8V redblocks?

Re: Injector position on E-intake
Maybe you find somthing in here?
Is it needed to look 100% stock or only lookalike?
