Saabel Garage; GMC Typhoon #FinnTyphoon
A friend of mine made few of those adapter plates. He spotted the drawing for that plate from http://www.lowbudgetrides.com/

Looking good!
For valvesprings volvo 9135130 are commonly used in Saab engines, not too expensive if I remember correctly.
Better cams can be hard if you are on a budget, folkraceshopen in Sweden has some cams but the quality of those I have no idea about. http://www.racestuff.se/motor/kamaxlar-c-170-1.aspx sells cams and others for about the same price. Not very cheap...
If you have an old 900 or 9000 around you can take the cams from that, a bit more duration and lift but not much.
Good luck with the build othervise, are you planning on running T5 for engine management?

Yeah, I am planing to uset those Volvo springs. Camshafts I have thought Enem products because anyway camshafts will cost money and those seam to work rather well. Those older Saab camshafts are so little better, that they are not worth trying.
I am not going to use T5 engine management, though it would propably work ok. I have Tatech Pro32 engine management system.
