turbine flange type

I was wondering how I attach the Down pipe to this type of turbine housing. My friend gave it to me and said it was a vband style. Which it obviously is not. Here are some pictures.

I can't give you and answer but that turbo looks kinda strange. If you look at the exhaust

And what vehicle use the original turbo?

it is a garret p trim t4 spit tang housing. I do not know what type of vehicle it came of off. I can ask my friend later but I doubt he'll know as thye just had this laying around.

Edit, I think I remember them using a larger looking one on a 4.6 liter mustang. But I can't remember what they used as far as mounting the DP. He's not getting back from his vacation in the bahamas for another week and a half.

Sounds possible, checked at one of our big tractors at work, had maintance check today for my self. And it was a solution like the one above.

Not exactly the same but it was kinda strange that one also.

Guess it's suppose to be pressed as you say.

is tehre a special type of "pressing clamp" that holds it in place?

If you're going to use that turbine house on a car I guess the simplest is to weld a flange on.
