M56 gears in M90

Hello! Sorry for posting in English - I was directed here from garaget, apparently you might know more about this subject.
Apparently M56 gears can be put in an M90. Plenty say it may be possible, but no one is sure ... Is this possible? It seems more likely you guys have tried this! Looking to fix my terrible D24 M90 ratios, and the M56 ones are excellent for it.
