yeah, probably another 740 GL. No big injuries, just some scrapes and bumps. going to take a break from cars for a little while first.

And then the compressor nut backed off the t67 so I bought a new turbo:


Hx52 billet compressor wheel

next to the old t67 compressor wheel:






next, the dyno tuning. Hx52 spools faster than the t67, makes GOOD power in the middle rpm range

How "heeb" is this "speed"? The old one didn't look all that cheap to my frugal eye.

it's not really that cheap anymore, but it's cheaper than some other cars.

The hx-52 almost spools too fast, makes OK power. needs more tuning, and now I need another transmission.

made ~365whp @ 15psi, ~325whp at 12psi. It needs more tuning at 15psi

unfortunately the th350 broke while it was on the dyno.

I don't get any breaks with this car. No documentation for the proefi, spotty support, just seems to be one aggravating issue after another.

it's the billet hx52. ~66-67mm inlet, turbine outlet... I don't remember off the top of my head, and I guess I didn't write them down.

burned up clutches in the th350 though


damaged thrust washer
