Factory pipe styrs vattenmängden i röret efter varvtal i en MSD box, men det krävs minst 93 - 95 oktan amerikansk mätning.
men vårat 95 oktan motsvarar bara 91 oktan ( us mätning )
hur gör ni på snöskotrar???

The European octane ratings are only higher on paper. 95 octane RON Euro = 91 road octane in the USA. We normally have 91 octane here in the USA, with an occasional gas station in some states that carry 92 octane gasoline.
The difference between the North American ratings and the European octane ratings :
We use the MON system octane number plus the RON system octane number divided by 2 = our road octane number for measuring the octane of the gasoline. RON + MON / 2 = Road Octane Number ( do not confuse road octane number with research octane number ), or 87 MON plus 95 RON = 182 divided by 2 = 91 road octane.
In Europe, they only use the RON octane ratings for their publicly published grades of petrol
Motor Octane Number ( MON ) , Research Octane Number ( RON ). Motor octane is stringently tested to a higher standard test, Research octane is more loosley defined and not tested to such a high standard as are the MON testing methods.
There was a time, not too many years ago, that the MON system test for octane was the normal test and the gas pumps worldwide all had MON rated octane grades of gasoline written on the gas pumps.
No doubt some clever marketing type in recent years came up with the RON measuring system and the European gasoline pumps have RON octane numbers so that people think they are buying some great fuel, when in reality, it is the same old stuff.
