Maybe the juncture into the 63mm pipe is what is causing the loss.
Some pipes are swaged instead of cut and that makes the pipe end area smaller.
Lots of joints have the 2 pipes squashed flat against each other instead of sawn at an angle and that is wrong.

My fault!! When i did the new manifold, i made most of the exhaust pipe again. At work we make tipper trucks, and parts of exhausts from Isuzu go in the bin. I used this and never measured it. Its not 63mm, its 57. so maybe why there is a loss in power!


I have cleaned up inside of one of the lh2.4 manifolds but recon i cant do much to it with out getting spotted, so will see what power it makes with the right exhaust on and a few other mods! thankyou!!!
