Removed the original CIH engine from caravan and sold it. Next week I am going to pick up a new engine for it. Omega c20ne engine + automatic gearbox not fast nor powerfull but quite reliable and should be easy to put in the engine bay. Also next week I am going to get Saab engine away from Saabel and open it. Hoping that it is just bottom end bearings which have broke.
Almost got the engine away. Just when I started to lift it the lifting mechanism broke and it didn´t lift anything. Atleast the lift off is quite close now
Little updates:
- Sold the HX35 and 50mm wastegate
- Purchased HX40super and "new" used con rods
- Going to buy a 60mm wastegate to go with the new turbo
Hoping to achieve less exhaust pressure and more power for next summer
Bought a se set of 8x15 wheels with 175/50/15 tires. They do look ridiculous but with new color on wheels, bigger tires and modest suspension drop it will look ok.
